McCarthy Real Estate is 10 years old!

Wow, time really flies! It’s hard to believe it’s McCarthy Real Estate’s 10th Anniversary already. It doesn’t feel like it was that long ago that Joe and I though of opening a brokerage.

In 2016, we were confronted with a choice of paths. Should we take our clients to yet another big franchise or take a leap of faith and break out on our own? Well, we did it! But we couldn’t have without Jody Curcillo, Esquire and Scanlon Real Estate Broker, Maureen Scanlon, who helped put the puzzle pieces together as I got my Broker’s license and opened McCarthy Real Estate.

Joe and I were not interested in becoming big real estate moguls or competing with franchise and corporate brokerages. We just wanted our own comfortable space where we could give our clients the personal service they deserve and work alongside caring, professional associates who share our values and commitment.

Over the course of the last ten years, we moved from the small three room office in Langhorne we started to a spot around the corner from where we settled here in Feasterville, growing from a team of just four agents to a group of fourteen now. I also got my New Jersey Broker’s license and now have licensed agents working in both PA and NJ.

I’m very proud of our team and all we’ve accomplished. Together, we’ve sold hundreds of properties for our clients, meeting new friends along the way. We’ve solved a slew of property problems for sellers and even helped conquer countless township tribulations.

And when our buyers were faced with multiple offer situations, we gave every single one our very best until our clients were able to get what they needed. We are all constantly working to increase our experience and knowledge in order for our clients’ moves to be a little less stressful during what’s considered one of the most stressful life events.
